NOTE: We use the terms Packet Telecommand and Packet Telemetry to refer to the protocols for the transport of packet data in telecommand or telemetry transfer frames. The terms are used by older issues of the standards. However, the protocols are not limited to packets and recent issues of the standards no longer use the terms.
