Our range of spacecraft telemetry products supports the CCSDS, ECSS and ESA standards.
The Telemetry Encoder Shell implements the on-board end of the TM Space Data Link Protocol and the Telemetry Decoder Shell implements the corresponding ground-based end. In earlier CCSDS and ESA standards, the TM Space Data Link Protocol was called Packet Telemetry.
Our software packages are highly portable and can be used on any system with an ANSI-standard C compiler. They are off-the-shelf software components for building ground and on-board telemetry facilities. They are also ideal for building simulators, demonstrations and spacecraft ground testing systems.
Note: The Telemetry Encoder and Decoder Shells handle the TM Transfer Frames (Version-1 transfer frames) defined for the TM Space Data Link Protocol. Our AOS products handle the Version-2 frames defined for the AOS Space Data Link Protocol of CCSDS Advanced Orbiting Systems.
